• Knowledge of report compilation, processing of book/ e- book, journal/ e-journal procurement , minutes preparation of library related meetings, library organization etc. 
• Organization of webinars/ online workshops for the university. 

Desirable: 

• Diploma in Computer Applications from a recognized University or Institute.

Madhabdev University invites online applications from eligible candidates for admission into the Ph.D. Programme, 2021 in the subjects- Assamese, Economics, Education, English, Philosophy, Sociology, Library Science, Botany, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and Zoology.

How to Apply: 

Candidates are required to apply online through the link available in the website www.madhabdevuniversity.ac.in of the University by paying application fees of Rs 1000/- + bank transaction charge. Payment of application fee is to be made online through Debit card / Credit card or NET-banking. Candidates should read and follow the instructions available on website carefully while filing up the online application form. 

Eligibility: 

Any person having a Postgraduate Degree from any recognized university or institute with not less than 55 (fifty five) percent of marks or equivalent grade in the concerned subject may apply for admission into the PhD Programmes in the subject in which the candidate has the Masters Degree or in an allied subject. The minimum marks for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates or a specially-able candidate (with equal to or more than 40% disability) is 50% or equivalent grade. 

Students who have appeared or are appearing in their postgraduate final examinations may also apply for admission into the PhD Programmes. However, such candidates will be required to furnish their results before the final selection list of successful applicants is prepared by the concerned department. An applicant, who is in a service (either permanent or temporary or part-time) should have a “No Objection Certificate” from the employer before admission can be allowed.

1. Evaluation of Ph.D. thesis by at least two external examiners. 
2. Open Ph.D., Viva-Voce of the candidates had been conducted.
3. Candidate has published two research papers from his/her Ph.D. work out of which at least one must be in a referred journal.
4. Candidate has made at least two presentations in conference/seminars based on his/her Ph.D. work.
5. to (e) as above are to be certified by the Registrar/Dean(Academic Affairs)
6. NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/NET.
