Applications are invited for the full-time library trainees at Central Library Sikkim University for a period of one year on a purely ad-hoc basis. The trainees will be given a stipend of INR 15000/- per month.No other allowances or facilities payable to the trainee other than stipend. Any candidate selected as library trainee has to work on a regular basis at the Central library or any branch- library. The candidate may also be called for work on weekends as well. 

Selection Process: Interview and document verification will be conducted for the selection of suitable candidates. Only a shortlisted candidates meeting a criteria as decided by the University shall be called for interview based on educational qualifications and computer background. Mere fulfilling of the essential qualification does not entitle a candidate to be called for the interview.
