ii. Eight years’ experience as an Assistant University Librarian/College Librarian;

iii. Evidence of innovative library service including integration of ICT in library; and

iv. A Ph.D. Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science/Archives and manuscript-keeping/computerization of library.

Eligible and willing candidates are required to bring applications in the  prescribed proforma along with Original and  the copies of certificates in support of their qualification and Experience on  25.6.2020 at 11:00 am for Assistant Librarian

1. The appointment will be purely on Contract basis initially for period of one year which may be extended on satisfactory performance and it will not confer any right to claim of permanent employment in SAI.

2. The contract will entitle the contractual appointee fixed remuneration of Rs.29,200/- per month. The contractual appointee will not be entitled to any other allowances.

3. In case, they are required to proceed outstation from the place of posting on tour for official duty, he/she will be entitled to TA/DA as per rules.

4. In case, the performance is not found satisfactory as per the set performance review criterion, the services will be discontinued after giving a prior one month notice.

5. No TA/DA will be given for attending the Interview.

Period Of Internship: Trainee ship/Internship position is purely temporary for a period of one year based on performance.

Age limit: Preferable, Below 30 years (as on last date of application)

Nature of Internship: Learn while you work on different functions and services of the Library . Selected Candidates will have to work on six days a week and shall work in different shift and on weekends on rotation basis. They will be required to do staggered duties.

Accommodation: The trainees may be required to stay inside the institute campus. free Accommodation facilities may be provided by IIT (ISM)Dhanbad In hostel/shared quarters (Based on availability)

Selection Process: IIT (ISM) Dhanbad may decide the criteria for selection which may include written test and or Interview. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the selection process.
