Considering the vital role of libraries in the development of society, BIMTECH started a series of training programs to uplift the technical skills of library professionals over the last 15 years by providing them with a platform where professionals can learn new techniques and share their experiences, knowledge and explore new ideas.

Koha is an open-source integrated library management software, used worldwide by the public, schools, universities, and special libraries.  Its development is steered by a growing community of users collaborating to achieve their technology goals. Koha’s feature set continues to evolve and expand to meet the needs of its user base.

In the two days of the workshop, emphasis will be given to hands-on training and real-time learning. Experienced experts have been engaged for the training purpose.

To maintain the quality of the workshop, selected and limited professionals will be allowed in the event.

(A Free, Open-Source and Menu Driven Statistical Software built on R Programming)

At the end of the workshop, participants should be able to:

• Get familiar with Jamovi: A free GUI for R Programming
• Understand statistical analysis using Jamovi
• Explore how to analyze research data using Jamovi
• Explore how to represent data using basic graphs using Jamovi

• Resource Persons

The resource persons are prominent statisticians / scientists / professors / researchers / scholars in the field of statistics and data science across the country. They have an extensive experience with the application of statistical analysis in a research evaluation.

• Venue: 

The Workshop will be conducted in Offline Mode at Information and Library Network Centre, Infocity, Gandhinagar-

382007, Gujarat, India.

• Workshop Fee : 

The registration fee is Rs. 3,540.00 (Rupees Three Thousand Five Hundred Forty only) per person without accommodation and Rs. 5,900.00 (Rupees Five Thousand Nine Hundred Only) with accommodation which is inclusive of GST rates. It covers the cost of training programme kit containing training materials and lunch during the training period. The payment should be made through Demand Draft in favour of INFLIBNET Centre payable at Gandhinagar along with filled-in registration form. Fee is non-refundable and non-adjustable.
