Education Qualification:
- Qualified in the national level test conducted for purpose by the UGC or any ether agency approved by the UGC.
- Master's Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation or it equivalent professional degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of 13 in the UGC seven point scale plus a consistently good academic record, Computerization of Library.
- Relaxation of 5% (From 55% to 50%) of the marks at the Master's level for SC/ST category for appointment of Assistant Librarian will be given.

Applications for the following posts of Assistant Professor and equivalent positions purely on Contract Basis @ Rs. 30,600/- PM fixed in the Pay Band of Rs 15600-39100 + 6000 AG? ( BP-15,600 + 6000 AGP + 150% of AGP) are invited initially for a period of one year extendable on year to year basis on the enclosed prescribed form. However, the application will be considerate valid only if it is accompanied with prescribed fee of Rs. 1340/- (Rupees one thousand three hundred and forty only) for un-reserved category candidates and Rs. 340/- (Rupees three.-t hundred and forty only) for reserved Category candidates (alongwith self attested copy of SC/ST/OBC Certificate) in the shape of Bank Draft payable at State Bank of India, BPAU, Palampur drawn in favour of the Comptroller, CSKHPKV, Palampur HP.
