Pay Scale : PB:2; Level-6 Rs. 9300- 34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4600/- as per 6th CPC (Level 7 as per 7 CPC)

Age Limit: 56 years
Educational Qualification and Experience:
- Officers of the Central/ State, UT Governments or Officers of the Central Autonomous / Statutory Bodies or Public Sector Undertakings
- Holding Analogous posts on regular basis; or
- Posts in the scale of Level 6 as per 7 CPC with 3 years of regular service in the grade; and
- possessing the following qualification:
- M. Sc/ M.A./ M. Com, Degree and
- Bachelor’s degree in Library Sciences; and
- Experience in acquisition of books, periodicals and documentation work in a Medical or other Library of standing.
(Period of deputation shall not ordinarily exceed 3 years)
