Minimum Required Educational Qualifications and experience 

• Minimum Master's degree in Library Science from a recognized university in India or abroad with at least 60% marks. Ph.D. in Library Science will be given Qualifications and Experience preference. 
• Evidence of innovative library service and organization of published work. Thorough knowledge of computerization of library. 

Work Experience: 

• Post Master's minimum 8 years of work experience in Library. Out of total 8 years of work experience, 3 year's relevant experience as an independent in­charge of the library in Central/ State Government Organizations/ Autonomous institutions like IIMs I IITs I Centrally Funded institutions/ Private Higher Education Institutions of national repute. 

Knowledge and Skills:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Other Conditions

• The institution reserves the right to fill the position on a contractual basis or at a lower pay level or cancel the post if no suitable candidate is found.

Remuneration

• The position is to be filled at Pay Level 10 as per 7th CPC (Basic, HRA, DA, TA, and DA on TA} and other eligible benefits as approved by the board from time to time. For candidates with exceptional credential in terms of experience and qualification higher Pay Level up to 12 of 7th CPC may be considered.

• All Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable application processing fee of Rs.1000 (Rupees Five Hundred only). Please note that all female applicants are exempted to pay application fee.
• Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PwD) are required to pay a non-refundable application processing fee of Rs.500 (Rupees Two Hundred Fifty only).
• All those candidates applying for more than one post will have to apply and pay the fee for each post separately.
