Essential:

• Master’s degree in Library & Information Science from a recognised University / Institute with two
• years’ experience in the relevant field in a university /research establishment/Central/State Govt./ PSU and other autonomous body’s library. OR

• i. Bachelor's degree in Library/ Library & Information Sciences from a recognized University /Institute;
• ii. Three years’ experience in the relevant field in a university/research establishment /Central /State Govt./ PSU and other autonomous body’s library;
• iii. Knowledge of Computer applications.

Desirable:

• PG Diploma in Library Automation and
• Networking or PGDCA or equivalent.
