Recruitment for Library Trainees (03 Posts) at Central Library, Sikkim University
Applications are invited for the full-time library trainees at Central Library Sikkim University for a period of one year on a purely ad-hoc basis. A candidate with a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science may apply in the prescribed format given here. Computational Background of Library Automation shall be a desirable qualification for the post.

Job Location : Central Library, Sikkim University
Age Limit : 18 – 30 years
Last date of Application : 8th July 2022
The trainees will be given a stipend of INR 15000/- per month.No other allowances or facilities payable to the trainee other than stipend. Any candidate selected as library trainee has to work on a regular basis at the Central library or any branch- library. The candidate may also be called for work on weekends as well.
Selection Process: Interview and document verification will be conducted for the selection of suitable candidates. Only a shortlisted candidates meeting a criteria as decided by the University shall be called for interview based on educational qualifications and computer background. Mere fulfilling of the essential qualification does not entitle a candidate to be called for the interview.
