Age limit: 

• i. Direct Recruits: 56 years
• ii. Deputation/ Short-term contract: 58 years

Essential:

• 1. Master's Degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ Documentation Science with at least 55o/o marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed.
• 2. A Ph.D. Degree in library science / information science / documentation / archives and manuscript-keeping.
• 3. Evidence of innovative library services, including the integration of ICT in a library.

Desirable:

• M.Phil./ Ph.D. Degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation /Archives and manuscript-keeping.

Experience:

• At least l0 years as Dy. Librarian (Acad. Pay Level-L2, including a minimum 3 years of experience in Acad. Pay Level-l3A) in the Library of any Technical University, Educational Institute of Nation4l Importance, or any other large Technical Library.
