Position: Librarian

Location: Palaj, Gandhinagar - 382055, Gujarat
Salary:
- Academic Level 14, Rs. 1,44,200 - Rs. 2,18,200 per month. Gross salary: Rs. 2,31,642/- (excluding HRA) with Transport Allowance and DA.
- Accommodation: Residential facility on campus (subject to availability) or HRA as per GoI norms.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Educational Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Library Science, Information Science, Documentation, or related fields.
- Master’s degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ Documentation with at least 55% marks and a consistently good academic record.
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years as Deputy Librarian in Pay Level 12 or higher at a university or reputed institute library.
- Expertise in E-Resource management, research support services, and digital library operations.
- Evidence of ICT integration in library services.
- Knowledge of digital library practices and emerging technologies.
- Research publications, leadership skills, and affiliation with professional library networks.
- Officers from Central/State Governments, universities, institutes of national importance, or PSUs with:
- Equivalent post or three years in Level 13 roles.
- Experience in library administration, establishment, and accounts.
- 57 years as of the last date of application.
