Eligibility Criteria Officers under the Central/State/UT Governments/Universities/Statutory or Autonomous Bodies or R&D Organisations:

• i. Holding analogous post on regular basis, OR
• With at least 5 years of regular service in the grade pay of ₹7600/- OR
• With at least 5 years of regular service in the grade pay of ₹6600/-
• ii. Having educational qualifications:

Essential:

• Master’s Degree in Science (preferably Biological Sciences) from a recognized University or equivalent.
• Degree or equivalent Diploma in Library Science of a recognized Institution or University.

Desirable  : 

• Master’s Degree in Library Science.
• Training in Medical Librarianship.
