Qualification
Officer under the Central/State/U.T Governments or Officers of the Central Autonomous Statutory Bodies or Public Sector Undertakings.
(i) Holding analogous posts on regular
basis ;or
(ii) Posts in the scale of Rs. 1640-2900(Rs.9300-34800 plus GP 4200 as per 6th CPC) with 3 years of regular service in the grade ;and
Possessing the following qualifications
i. M.Sc./ M.A/ M.Com degree and
ii. Bachelor’s degree in Library Science and
iii. Experience in acquisition of books, periodicals and documentation work in a medical or other library of standing.
Note:
Librarian Gr.II who are in line for promotion shall not be eligible for being taken on deputation.

Post: Library Trainee

No. of Post: 08 (04 General, 02 OBC, 01 SC and 01 ST)

Stipend: 15,000 per month(Consolidated)No other Allowances will be admissible

Period Of Internship: Trainee ship/Internship position is purely temporary for a period of one year based on performance.

Age limit: Preferable, Below 30 years (as on last date of application)

Nature of Internship: Learn while you work on different functions and services of the Library . Selected Candidates will have to work on six days a week and shall work in different shift and on weekends on rotation basis. They will be required to do staggered duties.

Accommodation: The trainees may be required to stay inside the institute campus. free Accommodation facilities may be provided by IIT (ISM)Dhanbad In hostel/shared quarters (Based on availability)

Selection Process: IIT (ISM) Dhanbad may decide the criteria for selection which may include written test and or Interview. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the selection process.

Interested candidates who fulfil the above mentioned criteria may apply by filling the details in application form by own hand writing. Please paste a passport size latest photograph on the printed form and send the signed application along with self attested copies of supporting certificates/testimonials by registered/ speed post.
