Recruitment for the Post of Senior Library Assistant at BITS Pilani, Pilani Campus
Post : Senior Library Assistant
Qualification and Experience: First class Graduate in Library Science /Information Science /Documentation with minimum 5 years of relevant experience or First Class Master’s Degree in Library Science /Information Science /Documentation Science with minimum 2 years of experience with the library of a technical university, educational institute, or any other large university library system at similar level.
Other Skill and Ability Requirements:
Excellent ICT skills, expertise in KOHA ILMS, and DSpace software
Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills, adaptability, dependability, and superior customer service attitude.
The selected candidates need to work in all sections of the library, in different shifts, and if required on holidays.
Should not be above 30 years of age as on 1st Nov 2022
Remuneration: Suitable candidate will be placed in Level 5 with a minimum pay of Rs. 29,200/- per month plus DA, plus Employer Provident Fund & other benefits as per Institute Norms.Procedure for Application:
