Age Limit : 18 to 40 Years (as on last date of application). Age relaxation applicable as per Uttar Pradesh Government rules for UP domicile candidates (SC/ST/OBC/PwBDs, etc.).
Essential Qualifications
- (i) B.Sc. Degree or equivalent from a recognized University; AND
- (ii) Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Library Science from a recognized University or Institute.
Desirable Qualifications/Experience
- (i) Only after attaining the degree of B.Lib. Two years experience of acquisition of books, periodicals and documentation work in a library of standing or repute.
- (ii) Computer Knowledge with typing speed of 30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi.
Selection Process
- Two Stages: Screening Examination (Qualifying) & Main Examination.
- Final selection based on marks in the Main Examination.
