Eligibility: Essential Qualification

• (i) Second Class Honours or Master’s degree of a recognized University
• (ii) Degree/Diploma in Librarianship of a recognized University/Institution
• (iii) 3 years’ experience in Library work in a Public/Institutional Library of repute

Desirable : Experience in office administration

Age Limit : Not more than 36 years as on 01.01.2026 (Relaxable for otherwise well-qualified & experienced candidates and for persons holding substantive appointment under Government) Language Requirement Ability to read, write & speak Bengali is essential (tested at interview).

• Not mandatory for candidates whose mother tongue is Nepali, unless specifically mentioned.
