All India Institute of Medical Sciences. Ansari Nagar, New Delhi will conduct Walk-in-Interview for the post of Chief Librarian on CONTRACTUAL BASIS for a period of one year. The tenure can be fiirther extended on year to year basis tip to five years from the dace of appointment on the basis of performance, Details arc as below:-

Qualification / Experience

I. Ph.D. in Library Science with Master's Degree in Science (Preferably in Biological Sciences) from a recognized University or equivalent. 

2. Degree or equivalent Diploma in Library Science from a recognized Institution or University.

Experience:- 

10 years experience in a supervisory capacity in a Library of standing with experience in digitalization of libraty/e-library facility and experience of documentation work in a responsible capacity. Knowledge of up-to-date latest library software. journal database and their management.
