Post : Library & Information Assistant

Position : Contractual for 1 year, extendable up to 5 years

Remuneration in INR : Rs. 40,000/- to 55,000/-

Education Qualification & Experience

Qualification: : Candidate must have passed HSC or an equivalent examination from any recognized Board/University Certificate/Diploma in Library  Science / Library& Information Science OR

Experience: Minimum 03 years as a full-time experience as Assistant/Attendant/Stack Assistant /Trainee /Clerk or similar post(s)in the Library of Academic/Research/Govt./ Semi Govt./NGO/Corporate.

Other Desirable Qualifications

• Having complete knowledge of computer application;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Excellentinterpersonal and conflict resolution skills;
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;

• (vi) Secretarial Work: data entry operations; noting, drafting, verification and scrutiny of records relating to library establishment, maintenance of files and records; budget maintenance, stores, personal records, leave records etc., if needed;
• (vii) All other jobs assigned from time to time.
• (viii) All these duties can be assigned on any day of the year including holidays.
