Desirable Experience: 

Experience in related media, technology, and information services aligned to knowledge management. Exposure to library software applications such as KOHA, D-Space, Zotero, Mendeley etc Publications in peer-reviewed journals/reputed journals on current trends. Membership in ALA/SLA/SIS/ILA, MANLIBNET, etc.

1. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET. 3. Five years of minimum experience as Library Assistant or equivalent position in a large Library of reputed Research Institute/ College. 

Desirable Qualification & Experience 

i) Ph. D or equivalent in relevant discipline. ii) A consistently good academic record, with knowledge of computerization of a library. iii) Working Experience of DSpace and Koha Automation software. iv) PG Diploma in Library Automation and Networking or PGDCA or equivalent. iii) Age Limit: The upper age limit is 40 yrs.
