Age Limit 30 years (max.) — Relaxable for Government Servants up to 5 years as per Central Govt rules.

Essential & Desirable Qualifications

• M.Lib.Sc / M.L.I.Sc or equivalent with at least 50 % marks OR
• Master’s Degree in Arts / Science / Commerce or any discipline with 50 % marks and B.Lib.Sc / B.L.I.Sc with 50 % marks.
• 3 years’ experience in the field of Library & Information Science.

Desirable

• Knowledge of Open Source Software, one-year computer course with knowledge of office applications; 
• Experience of working in E-Office System and knowledge of computer applications.

• Period of Probation 2 years

Mode of Recruitment 

• 50 % by promotion (failing which by deputation including short-term contract) and 50 % by direct recruitment.
